260 teams from Latvia and Estonia took part in the educational cross-border contest for 6th-9th graders “Energy Advice”. The first part of the contest has successfully concluded and the top 10 teams – 5 from each country – are invited to compete in the final. Family, friends and other interested are invited to support finalists!
Registration for the educational cross-border contest “Energy Advice” is open from 16 September 12:00 until 4 October 18:00.
On 16 September 2019, the educational Estonia-Latvia cross-border contest “Energy Advice” will be launched with an event in Elektrum Energy Efficiency Centre in Jurmala, Latvia. The event will mark the beginning of registration for the contest, tehre will be technically creative workhops and surprises from Elektrum.
As part of preparation for the educational contest "Energy Advice", which will be announced in September, we met with our stakeholders from Elektrum.
We have successfully finished organising the free technically creative workshops about energy saving and energy efficiency, giving the workshop participants an insight to the educational contest that will take place in autumn.

At the end of January, project "Energy Advice" partners met in Vetnspils to discuss the last details before the implementation of tehcnically creative workshops in schools in Latvia and Estonia.
In the project “Space Challenge: Interactive Teaching Tool” Ventspils High Technology park and limited liability company “Aspired” add European Space Agency's highly valued innovative capability to teach IT students the essential content of the space and space industry with new and creative teaching approaches in the multimedia environment.
From August 13 to 18, science and technology museum “Kurzeme Democentre” was a part of the 8th Eco-Schools Summer Forum organised by Foundation for Environmental Education Latvia (FEE Latvia) with the support of Ventspils City Council.
